A weekend at Leica HQ

Over the 1st of May we went on a trip to Wetzlar to visit the Leica Welt at Leitz Park. We stayed at the Ernst Leitz Hotel. It was a really beautiful experience to see how the cameras are made and get to know more of the history and hear some anecdotes. The exhibitions are amazing. The whole architecture of the place is camera and film related.

We have had luck with the weather. It was warm but not too warm. We could sit outside in the cafes and restaurants around town and many people were on the streets.

The town of Wetzlar is worth a visit in itself. Really nice little old town with lots of old buildings and either there lots of Leica history. It seems the place lives and breathes Leica.
